¿Tiene Suficiente Fuerzas?
Muchas veces las promesas de Dios no llegan solas, sino que requieren de una buena pelea y mucha fuerzas para obtenerlas. Dios le dijo a Josue que tenia que esforzarse y ser valiente para recibir la tierra prometida. Jesus dijo que al reino de los cielos sufre violencia y los violentos lo toman con fuerza. Y luego la Biblia dice que Sarah por fe recibió fuerzas para dar a luz un hijo cuando todo parecía imposible. Me imagino que cuando dice que recibió fuerzas es porque ella se sentía débil físicamente. Pero aun tal vez se sentía débil mentalmente porque no podia entender lo que estaba pasando. Ella necesito sacar fuerzas de lo mas profundo de su corazón para no hacerle caso a lo que ella estaba viendo y lo que ella estaba sintiendo si no que sencillamente dijo, “voy a creerle a Dios aunque todo parezca tonteo, y voy a creerle a Dios aunque todo parezca imposible”. Ese tipo de fuerzas quiero yo en este día! Que no importa que tan débil me sienta y no importa en que condición me encuentre yo quiero tener fuerzas para arrebatar las promesas de Dios. En este día, pidamos fuerzas a Dios para creer que todo es posible!
Hebreos 11:11
11 Por la fe también la misma Sara, siendo estéril, recibió fuerza para concebir; y dio a luz aun fuera del tiempo de la edad, porque creyó que era fiel quien lo había prometido.
56-0427 - "Fe"
34 Ahora fíjense en esto. Abraham hizo que Sara alistara todas las cosas para tener su bebé, él no sabía cuándo vendría. Dios no le dice a Ud. cuando vendrá su sanidad, pero Él prometió dársela a Ud. ¿ven? Él dijo, ahora… Abraham dijo: "¿Cuándo vamos a recibir este bebé?"
"Ahora, eso no es asunto suyo. Tú continua. Te lo dije. Todo lo que tienes que hacer es saber que yo lo prometí, y Yo soy tan bueno como Mi Palabra".
"Bueno" Abraham dijo: "Aleluya, yo creo", y se alejó, salió diciéndole a todo el mundo que él iba a tener un bebé, él y Sara-él con setenta cinco y ella con sesenta y cinco años. ¿Puede Ud. imaginárselo?
Vaya donde a un doctor hoy en día; que un anciano de setenta y cinco con su esposa y entre y diga:"Bueno, doctor, quiero hacer los arreglos con el hospital". Bueno Uds. saben ellos pensarían que él estaba loco,y cualquier hombre que tome a Dios en Su Palabra es considerado loco para el mundo. Es necedad para el mundo, pero fíjese, Sara también lo creyó junto con Abraham.
Are You Strong Enough
God’s promises don’t just fall on your lap, they requiere a good fight and a lot of strength to obtain them. God told Joshua that he had to be strong and be courageous to receive the promised land. Jesus said that the kingdom of heaven suffers violence and the violent take it by force. And then the Bible says that Sarah by faith received the strength to give birth to a child when everything seemed impossible. I am sure that when the Bible says that she received strength, it's because she felt physically weak. But she could have also felt mentally weak because she couldn't understand what was going on. She needed to draw strength from the bottom of her heart so as not to listen to what she was seeing and what she was feeling but simply say, "I'm going to believe God even if everything seems silly, and I'm going to believe God even if everything seems impossible." That’s the kind of strength I want on this day! That no matter how weak I feel and no matter what condition I find myself in, I want to have the strength to receive God's promises. On this day, let us ask God for strength to believe that anything is possible!
Hebrews 11:11
11 Through faith also Sara herself received strength to conceive seed, and was delivered of a child when she was past age, because she judged him faithful who had promised.
56-0427 - "Faith"
34 Now, watch this. Abraham had Sarah to get all the things ready to have their baby. He didn't know when it was going to come. God don't tell you just when your healing's going to come, but He promised to give it to you, see. He said now... Abraham said, "Now, when are we going to get this baby?"
"Now, that's none of your business. You go on. I told you. That's all you have to do is know that I promised it, and I'm good as My Word."
"Well," Abraham said, "Hallelujah, I believe," and away he goes, going around telling everybody he was going to have a baby, him and Sarah---him seventy-five and her sixty-five. Could you imagine it?
Walk up to a doctor today. Old man take his sixty-five-year-old wife in and say, "Well, doc, I want to make arrangements for the hospital." Well, you know, they'd think he was crazy, and any man that'll take God at His Word is considered crazy to the world. It's foolishness to the world. But notice, Sarah believed it too, with Abraham.
