Al crecer como niño, no pude entender cuál era el propósito de ir a la escuela. Constantemente preguntaba a mis profesores cómo me iba a ayudar en mi vida escribir un ensayo o aprender sobre ciencia. Se volvió muy frustrante saber que no haría nada de esto de adulta, pero tenía que hacerlo de niña y adolescente. Mi clase favorita fue educación física. Probablemente era la clase que menos necesites en ese momento. De lo que no me di cuenta en ese momento es que esto fue solo el comienzo de muchos años de escolarización.
Dios tiene una escuela a la que todos debemos asistir. Debemos estar atentos en cada salón de clases y Él espera que obtengamos un 10 en cada clase. Creo que el primer salón de clases al que todos entramos primero es la humildad. Nunca podemos esperar avanzar con Dios si fallamos en este tema. Nos encontraremos en el mismo salón de clases año tras año hasta que aprendamos a ser humildes. Fue María Magdalena cuando miro su condición y necesitaba un salvador que se sentó y lavó los pies de Jesús con sus lágrimas. Fue Jairo el que cayó a los pies de Jesús cuando su hija estaba enferma. Fue Legión quien se sentó a los pies de Jesús vestido y con su sano juicio después de que Jesús lo había liberado. La humildad te llevará muy lejos con Dios. Entre mas nos humillemos mas grandes y fuertes estarán nuestras raíces. La Biblia dice: "Humillaos, pues, bajo la poderosa mano de Dios, para que él os exalte a su debido tiempo". (1 Pedro 5: 6) Ayúdame Señor mientras aprendo a humillarme para conocerte más y más cada día.
71 ... Ahora, yo quiero decirles algo a Uds. Jesús ocupó el lugar más bajo: un siervo. Aleluya. Eso me prueba a mí que Él era Dios. Él tomó el lugar más bajo, el de lavar pies. El siervo más bajo que había, y Jesús tomó el siervo más bajo. Luego Uds. son tan tiesos, que no pueden hacer nada para Él. Pero Él tomó el lugar más bajo por Uds. Él fue un lavador de pies. Piénsenlo. El Rey de gloria se hizo un lavador de pies para mostrar humildad y para darles a Uds. un ejemplo de qué hacer y cómo hacerlo.

Growing up as a child I was unable to understand what the purpose of going to school was. I was constantly asking my teachers how writing an essay or learning about science was going to help me in my life. It became very frustrating to know that I would be doing none of this as an adult but I had to do it as a child and a teen. My favorite class was physical education. Probably the one that you need the least at that time. What I failed to realize at the time is that this was just the beginning of many years of schooling.
God has a school that we all must attend to. We must be attentive in every classroom and He expects us to get an A in every class. I believe the first classroom we all enter into first is humility. We can never expect to advance with God if we fail this subject. We will find ourselves in the same classroom year after year until we learn how to be humble. It was Mary Magdalene when she saw her condition and was in need of a savior that sat and washed the feet of Jesus with her tears. It was Jairus that fell at Jesus’ feet when his daughter was sick. It was Legion who sat at the feet of Jesus clothed and with his right mind after Jesus had delivered him. Humility will take you a long ways with God. The more we humble ourselves the greater and stronger our roots will be. The bible says, "Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time.” (1 Peter 5:6) Help me Lord as I learn to humble myself that I would know you more and more every day.
71 ... Now, I want to say something to you. Jesus took the lowest place, a flunky. Hallelujah. That proves to me, He was God. He took the lowest place, to wash feet. Had all kinds of flunkies, but the lowest one was a foot washer, washing that manure, and everything off their feet. The lowest flunky there was, and Jesus took the lowest flunky. Then you're so stiff, you can't do nothing for Him. But He took the lowest place for you. He was a foot washer. Think of it. The King of glory became a foot washer to show humility and to give you an example of what to do and how to do it.
